ABOUT
Hi I'm Joee Irwin. I'm an interdisciplinary artist who lives in Brooklyn.
I studied film/video at Columbia College Chicago. After school I had a life as DJ and music producer. This influenced my visual process in new and interesting ways - an artistic project like making a film could be approached more like making a track than using traditional models. It also left me with an excellent sense of timing.
Over the years I've learned to wear lots of hats and vary techniques - this is especially useful in the age of social media.
I use the Adobe Suite, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Final Cut Pro, as well as lots of arts and crafts.
In my free time, I practice a lot of yoga.
